Text Messaging (SMS)

Information we collect. When you opt in to MaterialBid Text Alerts, we collect your mobile number and a record of your consent: the date, time, and source of your opt-in and the disclosure you agreed to. We also keep the messages we send and receive and your opt-in and opt-out history.

How we use it. We use this information to send the messages you signed up for, respond to HELP and STOP requests, keep records of consent and opt-outs, and comply with the law.

How we share it. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except: (1) with service providers, such as our messaging platform and wireless carriers, that process it only to deliver our messages for us; (2) with our affiliates only to the extent needed to honor your request to stop receiving messages; and (3) where required by law or legal process.

How long we keep it. We keep consent and opt-out records for at least 4 years after your last message from us, or longer if the law requires.
